Dr. Höediono studied and completed his Bachelor of Science in Physical Anthropology at the
University of Toronto in 1986. Because of his scholastic success he was awarded a full NSERC scholarship and the Moss Star Scholarship Award. He continued at the University of Toronto in the field of dentistry. He graduated in 1990 from dental school and the same year he wrote his national examinations and was certified by the National Dental Examination Board of Canada. Again, being successful with his studies he received the Keith Box Silver Medal for Periodontal Surgery.
Dr. Höediono has been an active voice in the field of dentistry. He promotes his profession through many different avenues. In the past, he has served as president of the Waterloo-Wellington Dental Society. He has served on numerous committees for the Ontario Dental Association as Chair or Task Force Member. Those committees include: The New Dental Task Force, committee for fee Guide Review and the development of new codes for dental implants in the Ontario Dental Fee Guide.
Dr. Höediono promotes dentistry through speaking engagements with students at the University of Toronto's Dental School, and he can be heard on local radio stations providing answers to various dental questions. At present he is a member of the Board of Directors for the Ontario Dental Association.
On a personal note, Dr. Höediono enjoys spending time with his three children and his wife Helen de Man. He is also an avid rock climber Back
